Jake Eddy

Bluegrass Today called Jake Eddy a “Flatpick Wizard” and that is nearly an understatement.  Jake is a bluegrass guitarist born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia who began his music career and lifelong addiction to the road by first playing professionally at the age of fourteen with bluegrass-legend Melvin Goins. His guitar playing, which is primarily influenced by bluegrass and jazz, is showcased on his debut album of fiddle tunes, entitled “Jake Eddy,” which peaked at #2 on the bluegrass charts and cemented him as one of the premier practitioners of the flatpick-style guitar. Jake is a 2-time Independent Music Award nominee and debuted on the Grand Ole Opry in 2021.
